Our History

Chi Sigma Tau National Fraternity, Inc. was founded on September 9, 1999 by 10 founding fathers who sought to build a brotherhood based on Courage, Strength, and Trust. They believed these core values creates "Leaders, Not Followers" and builds true gentlemen. The Fraternity has grown throughout the years; from a single chapter of ten original brothers to ten strong chapters with over 1000+ brothers and counting. It continues to grow and evolve. As more chapters are established, more brothers are forged, incorperating more ideas to push the brotherhood forward, establishing a stronger bond with one another, and building a bigger network. By joining the brotherhood, you'll be tapping into our vast network to build yourself up with more experiences, skills, and connections during college. Thus setting yourself apart from the many and giving youself the advantage you need to set yourself up for life!

Academic Excellence

Our #1 goal as brothers is to graduate college as well as encourage all brothers to strive for academic excellence to do so.

Cultural Awareness

Encouraging cultural awareness around our community, our brothers, and our cultural understanding to spread, share, and educate others.

Strength

Improving our brothers' strengths and identifying their weaknesses so that they can strengthen each other's individual abilities to overcome even their hardest obstacles in life.

Social Interactions

Promoting social interactions between people of diverse cultures to expand our brothers' knowledge, understanding of themselves and the world.

Service & Philanthropy

Bettering our community and our university through service and philanthropy will provide rewarding growth that builds character for our brothers.

Solidarity

Bringing a voice to the Asian-American and multicultural communities on campus through understanding, unity, and actions to bring forth positive outcomes for everyone.

Honor

Each brother will find honor and integrity in everything that they do and set for themselves because honor is all that a man needs to achieve life-long goals with integrity.
